• Patient volume: A single-provider practice with a lighter daily schedule has different needs than a multi-physician practice seeing dozens of patients daily.
• Space type mix: Exam rooms and dental operatories need surface disinfection between patients (handled by clinical staff) plus a thorough daily clean (handled by the cleaning crew); waiting rooms and reception need continuous attention throughout the day.
• Season: Cold and flu season warrants increasing the frequency of high-touch surface disinfection in waiting areas and restrooms.
• Practice type: Dental operatories, urgent care, and pediatric practices generally warrant the most frequent attention given contact intensity and patient population.

Don't skip periodic deep cleans

Regardless of daily frequency, schedule quarterly deep cleans for floors and hard-to-reach areas. Most providers offer these as add-ons at favorable rates for existing accounts.
